Meet Tracey McVicar:
Tracey L. McVicar is a Managing Partner at CAI. She joined in 2003, is based at the firm’s office in Vancouver. She is responsible for the firm's western Canada operations. Previously, Ms. McVicar served as a Partner at the firm. She was a Senior Vice President at Raymond James Ltd., where she was responsible for its equity syndication activities and investment banking clients in the utilities and technology sectors.
Before this, Ms. Tracey McVicar spent 12 years in investment banking, she was employed at Raymond James Ltd. and was also a Partner at Gospel Shields and Partners in 1997. Earlier, she worked as a Vice President in the Investment Banking Division at RBC Dominion Securities Inc. Ms. McVicar is a Member of the Board of Directors of CCS Corporation and BC Hydro Corporation. She is also the Chairman of G.L.M. Industries, L.P. Ms. McVicar was a Member of the Board of Directors of Goepel Shields and Partners.
In addition, she was a Member of the Board of Directors of several non-profit organizations including UBC Investment Management Trust; the VGH; and UBC Hospital Foundation. Ms. McVicar has also served as a Member of the Board of Directors of the Canadian Craft Museum. She is a qualified C.F.A. and has received the Institute Certified Director Designation (ICD.D) from the Institute of Corporate Directors. Tracey McVicar received a B.Comm degree from the Sauder School of Business at University of British Columbia.
